Abstract
Chronic pain is complicated by substantial psychological and functional impairment that can have a profound effect on quality of life. More than 75 million Americans suffer from chronic pain, and the number of these patients followed in primary care practices is rising (Adams et al., 2001; Gureje, 1998).References
